Eric Stone III started with the SCA in 1992 attending the Egils Memorial Tourney at Fern Ridge Lake Reservoir.
In 1997 he met and married his wife Chanda who had a history of merchanting at the Southern Pleasure Faire.
In forming their household they constructed numerous period items, native to either the Renaissance or Medieval time periods.
Upon the urging of their friends they made more of these items for limited sale, until together they decided to
open the Stone Garden shopee.
Both Eric & Chanda work full time with regular jobs, the creation of their wonderful furniture, shields, and
jewelry are the labors of their individual hobbies. They continue to sell their wares both through
personal contacts and over the internet through this exclusive website.
In addition, four times a year (sometimes more, sometimes less) they visit various SCA and
Renaissance Faires throughout the northwest, to set up shop and sell everything they’ve made in the
preceding months.
Typically you can find them at one or all of the following events:
SCA: Egils Memorial Tourney (Memorial Day weekend near Eugene, OR.)
An Tir West War (4th of July weekend alternately between OR & Northern CA) for more info.
July Coronation (somewhere in either OR or WA in the middle of July)
Renaissance Faires:
Shrewsbury (first half of September, west of Corvallis, OR)
